MISSION STATEMENT:    Belmond Chapter of the Wright County Historical Society Shall collect, preserve, and display artifacts and record information of historical significance to the Belmond and surrounding area.

Founded in 1977, the Belmond Historical Society, is a duly established non-profit organization, which owns and maintains the Museum on Main Street downtown Belmond. We moved into our present building in the Fall of 2008.
