Are you struggling to store your family photos?  Don't know where to start organizing the family documents?  Are you clueless when it comes to digitizing your stuff?  Do you need some reassurance that you are taking the absolute best care of your family treasures?  Are you the volunteer collections manager at a small museum and don't know where to start with photographs and documents?  Then this program is for you!

This workshop will demonstrate the fundamentals of archiving photos and documents.  Participants will learn how to properly store and handle their collections.  They will learn the fundamentals of selecting, organizing, and inventorying materials.  We will also cover best practices for digitizing photos and documents.

Participants are invited to bring their questions and sample materials from their collections for use in the workshop.
