Description: Collections care is more than acid free boxes and tissue paper. It also involves managing temperature and humidity, light levels, pests, mold, and more. In this in-depth session, we will discuss real-life situations and talk about how these environmental factors affect artifacts. Participants will learn practical steps for mitigating risks like these, and will receive resource lists for materials and equipment as well as where to find additional information and support.
