Position Summary Information
Part-time, 20 hours/week with Grinnell College benefits
Reports to: Museum Director

Grinnell College is currently seeking a creative, flexible, and well-organized Administrative Assistant I to provide support to the Director, Curator of Academic and Community Outreach, and other staff members of the Museum of Art. This role will serve as an ambassador for the Museum with constituents on and off campus, which would include artists and other institutions. The candidates will handle event scheduling and coordination, travel arrangements and management of advertising and announcements. The assistant will be supervising and scheduling student staff. The Administrative Assistant will have a wide variety of tasks which would include budget tracking, meeting agendas and minutes, itineraries, coordination with partners (on and off campus), and assist with gallery labels and other printed materials.
