Application materials are being accepted for the above support position within the Hearst Center for the Arts. The position may include day, night, and weekend work hours averaging 20 hours per week.  Starting Pay:  $12.652/hr. 

Duties will include providing assistance to the Education Coordinator to re-establish existing and new community outreach programs, purchase classroom items, maintain clean and organized work spaces, supervise weekend activities and oversee education displays, assist with scheduling educational instructors and volunteers, assist in determining and administering student, instructor, and volunteer safety procedures, and provide public contact/assistance related to Center services, class registration, opening/closing procedures, facility monitoring, and Division staff support. Strong telephone, computer/social media, customer service, communication, and organizational skills required. 

Position is eligible for annual increases, pro-rated holidays, vacation and sick leave benefits; cafeteria and retirement plans.  High school diploma or GED equivalent required with two years of clerical/art education assistance experience preferred. Position also requires the possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver's license with good driving record (if deemed necessary) and successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment physical including drug screen.
